Conduit Re announces promotions within Property underwriting team
Pembroke, Bermuda – 27 May 2026 – Conduit Re, a Bermuda-based multi-line reinsurance business, is pleased to announce two promotions within its Property underwriting team. Nick Lines has been promoted to Head of Ceded and Senior Property Underwriter, and Kyle Smith has been promoted to Head of International Property. Both Nick and Kyle will report to Stephen Postlewhite, Chief Underwriting Officer.
These promotions reflect Nick’s and Kyle’s strong contributions to the continued development of Conduit Re’s inward and outward Property portfolios. Stephen Postlewhite will assume leadership of the Property team alongside his existing responsibilities as Chief Underwriting Officer, while Conduit searches for a permanent replacement following the departure of Peter Kiernan, previously Head of Property and Head of Strategic Engagement.
In his expanded role as Head of Ceded and Senior Property Underwriter, Nick will lead the implementation of Conduit’s outwards retrocession programme and continue to support underwriting across US and international Property portfolios. As Head of International Property, Kyle will be responsible for overseeing and further developing Conduit Re’s international Property portfolio.
